RESPONSE – Your sub-conscience records everything! You may try to block out the lyrics, but you cannot stop them from being recorded into your mind. Your mind can even record backwards messages. It has been scientifically proven that your mind is so clever that, even when you aren’t trying to, you can receive the information that is stated in the lyrics of music. Even if it is recorded backwards. And it affects you! When you listen to sex, sex, sex, or murder, murder, murder, those are things that will come out of you in the heat of the moment. They are programmed in your mind without your consent.

PROOF – How many TV commercial jingles do you know? And how many of those did you actually learn purposely? Your answer is probably that you never intended to learn them, but because they played in your mind, you learned them without putting forth any effort. Now, where do you think the foul messages from Hip Hop are going when you listen to them?

SCRIPTURE – Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

RESPONSE – Then why do advertisers pay up to $1,000,000 for 15 minutes of commercial time during the Super Bowl? They know something that you don’t even know about yourself. They can play their commercial jingle and show you pictures of things, and influence you to buy their product in a matter of seconds. Your mouth gets watery, your lips get white, and your stomach starts growling because your hunger and your ears begin to work together to cause you to desire that hamburger! Well, the same goes for sin. Your fleshly man and those lyrics/videos begin to work together to cause you to desire sin. Our flesh is already wicked and desires things that are not of God. So what happens when you mix that with sinful lyrics, or sinful video images?

PROOF – What kind of music do you like? Okay, now, what kind of things do you do that are not of God? Told ya!!!

SCRIPTURE – James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

RESPONSE – Who are they working for? You see, they have to be responsible for their actions. If they are making music that causes young people to sin or be tempted to sin, then they aren’t working for Christ. If they use profanity, sex, drugs, violence, sexy costumes, or any other sinful thing to sell records then they cannot be working for Christ. Therefore, if they aren’t working with him, then they are working against him. And they are subject to the demonic forces that control the recording industry.

PROOF – Count the number of songs that glorify sin on their album. Then, count the number of songs that glorify God on their albums. Who won?

SCRIPTURE – Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

RESPONSE – Music was never used in the Bible to win the lost. Music was always used to prepare the hearts for the word of God or the presence of God. Music cannot win a soul. When Paul and Silas were locked in jail, the Bible says that they sang praises to the Lord and the doors opened. A guard heard them and fell to his knees and asked, “What must I do to be saved.” The music stopped and Paul preached the Word to him! Yeah, a lot a people feel good after they hear the ONE gospel song on these foul albums, but are they getting the word afterwards? How can they when the next song is XXX! You see, there is a deep danger in the spirit realm when gospel artists record with sinful secular artists. You are opening people up and not completing the job.

But the worst part is that the message of Christ is made of non-effect by the message of sin. You are causing people to sin and then letting them know it’s okay as long as they sing about Christ afterwards? God forbid. Music cannot save them. Look at Lucifer in heaven. He was making God’s music and ushering in the very presence of God. But his heart turned evil and proud. Did the music change him? What about the sinful artists you are recording with. Is the music changing them? NO! They can record a 20 song CD and have one gospel song and if it doesn’t change them, what makes you think it will change others that listen to it? I have yet to hear one of these “crossover” gospel artists say that the rest of the music on the secular albums that they are recording on is bad! They can’t because they are on the project!

And what happens when the gospel music fans want to hear the new song that their favorite artists has recorded? They have to buy the sinful CD, sit and listen to the sin, sex, violence, etc. to get to the gospel song? Do you know what you are doing to the youth of America? Not only are you supporting the secular industry, but you are causing Christians to buy the XXX cd’s just to hear you! Can you imagine a 15 year old Christian teenager purchasing Missy Elliot’s CD because they are a fan of Evangelist Dorinda Clark, or a fan of Yolanda Adams? Can you imagine what happens to them when they listen to “Get your freak on” or “One Minute Man” while they sleep or while they are riding in their car? God is upset people! He would never tempt people with sin before he offers salvation!

PROOF – Imagine a large 24 x 24 foot billboard of 2 teenagers having sex. And on the bottom corner, written very small, are the words “Jesus Christ”. Now, what do people see first? Why? Because the painting glorifies the sin, and not Christ. And even worse, Jesus’ name appears as a signature of approval and not a message for change! Now, imagine that the billboard is a CD. Get the picture?

SCRIPTURES – Luke 11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 2 Corintians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

RESPONSE – First of all, there is a price for fame. Jesus himself didn’t want to be famous because of what it would cost him. That’s why after he performed miracles, he would always say,”Don’t tell anyone”. Are we better than Christ that we should seek fame? Should anyone carrying the name of Christ desire to have their name higher than his? Who are we glorifying, his name, or our name?

Second, signing a secular contract sells away your right to make your own decisions about your music. How can a person that is governed by secular ideas, marketing strategies, and demonic influences, be in position to hear from God? The record company has the final say! You have put yourself in a position to be governed by the enemy and not God. Whatever they want from you, you are legally charged to give. Wherever they say go, you must go. Whatever they say do, you must do! All for the sake of fame and “getting out there”. The saddest part is that the mentality of our nations musicians are changing. Now, before they ever hear from God, before they even get seasoned, or many times, get saved, they are searching for a record deal and trying to “get out there”.

Third, this scripture has been taken out of context. The key to the whole Proverb is the word “Laid up” or “Set aside”. That means that it is “detached” and stored up for the just. God is not gonna use you to prosper the wicked! God is not gonna use a gospel artist to promote a sinful artist. He is not gonna let you use his name to validate the lifestyle of a sinful artist! God forbid. If the wealth is still attached to the wicked, God doesn’t want it. Since these wicked artists are hurting his people, they are cursed. And their money, as long as it’s attached to them, is cursed. So, don’t use this scripture if you are talking about money you are “making” for the wicked. God will lay it up, or set it aside for you.

PROOF – Remember when Saul tried to keep the wealth of wicked and offer it to God? 1Samuel 15:2 God didn’t want it because it was from the very people that were destroying his people! Or what about Achan! Joshua 7:1 Was the wealth he kept “laid up” for the just? Well, the very people that are destroying the minds and hearts of our youth today are Hip Hop artists! Do you think God wants you to make them prosper even more? God forbid!

SCRIPTURE – 1Corinthians 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

RESPONSE – This thing is Spiritual. If you are thinking naturally, you will never understand the message of EX! You will not understand what God really has for you. And you will not make it heaven without being “Spiritually minded”. If you desire secular music, secular clubs, sinful movies, and sinful things all the time, you really need to check your lifestyle. Are you really saved? Has God really come in and changed you? Are you free from demons? Are you free from curses? Please, my friend, look into your life. Check it out.

What has happened in America, is that the people with curses, demons, or serious emotional issues and problems are famous now. They are making the music that the world is buying. They are spreading confusion and the very hidden issues in their lives to the public. So, people with issues love and desire to be with people with issues! Even in Gospel, artists with undealt with demons, emotional problems, and dysfunctions are famous now! And they are causing many others to follow them without even addressing the hidden issues of their own lives.

PROOF – Just like Lucifer in heaven. Remember that, he did not leave the presence of God alone, but he convinced 1/3 of the angels to follow him. How in the world can you convince anyone to leave the presence of God for evil? MUSIC!

SCRIPTURES – (Read it all, thoroughly!)

RESPONSE – Yes, Jesus did reach out to sinners to win them. He did eat and spent time with them. This argument had me stumped! I searched for an answer to this argument and couldn’t seem to find one. But the Holy Spirit answered me very clearly one day. He told me to go to this scripture: Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. I still didn’t understand the answer. But the Spirit spoke to me and said that the key to this verse is not the word “fellowship” because Jesus did fellowship with unbelievers. But the key is the word “Works”. The Lord asked me what does BMI called a published song? A “work”! I was shocked. The Lord said that he indeed fellowshipped with sinners, but he never produced unfruitful “works” with them. When you record on a secular CD, you are apart of an unfruitful work of darkness. When Christian artists record on these sinful Hip Hop albums, their intentions may be good, yet because the content of the rest of the cd is sex, drugs, and sin, it is an unfruitful “work” of darkness! If you call BMI and ask them about that CD, they will refer to it as a “work”. And because of the sin, the CD is promoting the kingdom of “darkness” right? So is this the type of fellowship of an unfruitful work that the Lord was referring to? You bet! If it hurts the minds of people in anyway, it is not a work of Christ.

PROOF – If you are riding in a car with someone and they get pulled over for having drugs in the car, guess who goes to jail? Even if you didn’t know, you will go down because by riding with that person, you are saying “I agree” or “I condone your actions”. People of God, when you record, listen to, or in anyway support this Hip Hop movement, you are in agreement with it fully. You are condoning by association!

SCRIPTURE – 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

RESPONSE – This is a very good question. Many feel that we are asking people to destroy their Gospel CD’s as well as their secular CD’s. But you have to be careful how you handle this information on our site. We own and enjoy Gospel music from certain artists that have recorded with secular artists. But we do no encourage the support of projects that are in support of secular artists. For example, we love Fred Hammond’s project “Purpose by design” and we support his own projects because he doesn’t use secular artists, nor does he use secular producers. However, we will not support his collaboration with P.Diddy on Bad Boy records because we don’t want our money to support the enemies weapons against our nations youth! We do believe that the “anointing” can be compromised and lost by these artists if they continue to compromise their integrity and join themselves with these explicit artists in the name of Christ. Recording for and with these Hip Hop artists says one thing and one thing only. That you are in agreement with them and what they do! Jesus never produced “works” with sinners. To do that, you must join yourselves with them spiritually and agree with their spiritual state. After all, if you disagree with their lifestyle and method of making money, how can you join yourselves with them to prosper them and help promote their cause?

PROOF – The word of God was very clear in it’s dealings with the prophet Ezekiel and the sin of Israel. In the book of Ezekial, God’s people began to close their eyes to sin because of prosperity and they begin to teach and promote sin. The prophets and ministers began to join themselves with prosperous sinners and began to embrace the sins of the people without standing up and teaching the true Word of God. They even began falsely prophecying to justify their actions. Sounds like our Gospel Music industry? Homosexuality was ignored and not dealt with. Vanity and self promotion was ignored and the norm. Mixing and mingling with sinful, secular people that claimed God and yet worshipped idols and other gods was and still is an abomination to the living God! How can you join your ministry to that? So we do believe that good music can be created by many of these compromising artists, but you must allow God to lead you in your support of them. After all, Lucifer was allowed to make music in Heaven, but when he crossed the line, he was removed. Many gospel artists are crossing the line by supporting the secular industry and it’s up to us as a church to take a stand. So do not allow sinful secular artists, producers, and writers to prophecy their doctrines of sin upon your ears. Even though their lyrics may be gospel, they are joined to Satan and are workers of iniquity! And since music carries their spirit, you may be inviting an evil presence into your church, home, or into you mind! God does not want any part of it. SCRIPTURE – Ezekiel 4:11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

RESPONSE – A crowd of young people dancing and partying to beats and raps does not signify a move of God. The truth lies in the fact that when the concert is over, do they throw away the world’s music? Are demons cast out of these youth? Do they want to change their lifestyle and live according to the Word of God? Holy Hip Hop and any other form of Hip Hop are not of God because of the spirit that operates through Hip Hop. KRS-ONE and others have been trying for years to get Hip Hop in the church and now they have through this Holy Hip Hop movement. That’s why it’s hard to even tell the difference between many of these Holy Hip Hoppers and the real Hip Hoppers. Most of them dress the same, promote the same the spirits and even imitate the real Hip Hoppers while they are rapping. Youth pastors, Pastors, and churches should beware. We must not allow Hip Hop in our churches or allow it to be used to reach the youth. It’s not necessary! Youth are YOUTH! They are attracted to beats and people that look like their worldly heroes. Even Kanye West was able to bring 300 kids to the alter with his beats and lyrical style. Does that mean he was of God? Did the fruit remain? Was the Holy Ghost in operation? If what the Holy Hip Hoppers are saying is true, then we should just allow P. Diddy, Kanye West and JayZ to start coming and ministering to our youth groups. After all, if Hip Hop is a tool, then anyone can use it for good or for bad right? We must not get this confused because the enemy wants the credit for everything that we do as Christians. If we say that we, as Christians, are Holy Hip Hoppers, then we are giving the credit for our way of living or rapping to the enemy because Hip Hop rests upon his principles and doctrines and not the leading of the Holy Spirit! We are posting an article from a good friend of this ministry about the enemy wanting the credit for what God is doing through people. Go here to read it. If what we do is Hip Hop in anyway, then guess who gets the credit for it?

PROOF – Say you work for a major corporation like Sony. You come up a monster invention that no one has ever seen before. You found a way to erase old CD’s that you don’t listen to anymore and rerecord on them. You tell your boss, he gets the development team to build it and it’s placed on the market. From this point on, no one throws away cd’s or sales them because they can now rerecord them. The world is changed by your invention. Who gets the credit for the change? You or Sony? Is your name on the invention? Is your face in the stores next to your invention? NO. Even though you came up with the concept, the origin of the idea belongs to Sony. Sony employed you, owned you, established you, gave you the resources, and even put you in the mode to create because Sony created the first CD!!!

Well, if what we are doing to reach the lost, win souls for Christ, and establish the Kingdom of God is Hip Hop, then who gets the credit? God? No! The culture does because you have pledged your allegiance to them!!!!

SCRIPTURE – Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

RESPONSE – Let’s be real for a minute. Cultures are subject to movements of people based on situations or circumstances surrounding them right? That would mean that every culture has a base. And whatever that base is decides what the fruit of that culture will be. In other words, the roots determine the fruit! The roots of Hip Hop are demonic. Oppression, anguish, poverty, violence, and other negative influences created this culture. Zulu customs, teachings, and ideals gave foundation and established the “positive” aspects of Hip Hop. You must realize that God did not play a part in the creation, establishing, or foundation of Hip Hop, so how can we drag him into it at this late stage. KRS-ONE says that he was visited by a spirit and the spirit influenced him to accept his calling in Hip Hop. This was also stated by Afrika Bambaata who is the founding father of Hip Hop. How can we embrace this culture when it’s origins are evil and demonic?

Many Christians are trying to hold on to their pasts by staying true to the culture and embracing it because that’s where they came from. But Paul says that he counts all that he had attained as DOOKIE!!! That means that we must let go of who we were and move on in our new identity in Christ. God never intended for the black man to be oppressed, poor, and discriminated against. And God seeks to deliver us out of that mentality that influenced us to act on our oppression. But he never wanted us to look within ourselves and find the answers, as the hip hop leaders preach, but he wants us to look to him and use his method, the word of God, to break free from the curses of our oppressors.

PROOF – Why did God, when he changed the lives of Paul and Abraham, change their names? All through the Bible, God would always change the name or give a meaningful name to those that he called and used. Their name would preach a sermon in itself about their transformation process or their intent for living. Well, if God has changed you, how can you hold on to your surroundings, your old ways, your old thought processes? You cannot! God would also take his people out of their environments, away from their friends and family, and move them into new lands. But those that held on to their old customs or cultures were left behind. Why? Because where we come from is not where God wants us to stay. Listen my people, God is not concerned with our cultures. He wants to establish a place for us in the only true culture and that is the Kingdom of God!!!

SCRIPTURE – Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

RESPONSE – This is so ridiculous. First, people are not playing soccer with human heads anymore. There are no murderously bloody ones going on in our time. So, it cannot be compared to Hip Hop because the originaters, the creaters, founders, and the evil Hip Hop movement is still going strong now. Much stronger than the knockoff “Holy” version will ever be. So, the two cannot compared. Secondly, soccer was not spiritual. No one in soccer is foolish enough to start calling it “good soccer” or “holy soccer” it’s just SOCCER. Only these rappers that want to do what their heroes of Hip Hop have been doing are wanting to make the culture/religion of Hip Hop “Holy”. Real Hip Hoppers know that it’s just plain Hip Hop. No Holy version at all exists to them. To the streets, it’s just Hip Hop. And because of the demonic stronghold of Hip Hop, God chooses not to join with it. Men may have ideas and plans, but the Spirit of God will not join with the spirit of darkness to get anything accomplished in the Kingdom.

PROOF – This question is so ridiculous and un-spiritual that I don’t want to waste any more of my time proving it! If you want Hip Hop, then follow the Holy Hip Hoppers. They will make you feel that you can be Heaven bound with your worldly identity. Hip Hop made you feel like somebody when you were in the world, so now you can join the Holy Hip Hop movement and keep those feelings with Christ stamped on it? Wake up people.

SCRIPTURE – Gal. 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

RESPONSE – Our church is plagued with fear to expose the truth. When it’s the truth that the word says makes you free! We at EX Ministries may call out a few names of Christians that do things contrary to the teaching of Jesus in the church and people think we are judging them. But the information we give it is on the internet, in magazines, and other forms of media, yet for some reason, when we repeat it, people call that judging and are ready to cut our throats! We are only bringing clarity to things that are said and done that are contrary to the Word! Isn’t that our job? People act like it’s OUR FAULT that some of the people we use as examples are doing the things they do against the truth. We receive vicious threats and profane emails everyday from people defending various “Gospel” artists or ministers because of things that they themselves are doing that do not line up with scripture. We are living in a sad day when people will fight to protect their favorite singers rather than stand up for the truth of the Word of God. And whatever happened to that thing we used to have as saints of God called DISCERNMENT? I guess so many are caught up in sin until they don’t want anyone discerning them so they cancel that ability as a saint. Check the Bible people! Stating the truth is what Jesus taught us to do. Paul called out people publicly for what they did. Some to their face (Peter in Galatians 2:14) and some he called out when they were not present to warn people of their contrary deeds (Hymenaeus and Alexander in 1Timothy 1:20). Now, had their contrary deeds been done privately, then I’m sure Paul would have dealt with them privately. But when it’s done openly, it requires open rebuke according to the word.So don’t get disturbed when you hear that someone is doing something they shouldn’t. We are the body of Christ and we are to keep each other lifted up when we fall. We are to keep the lines of the Kingdom of God visible according to the word and we are to keep guard that the enemy cannot infiltrate. Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. That means that we must close off all doors or openings that the enemy seeks to enter into the church. Make sure you keep a good understanding about the word and know that we do not judge the world, but we have people that God has called to judge his people. Pastor, prophets, etc, are here to state truth and judge situations that require it in the church of God.

PROOF – Understand the Bible! Understand that people are going for TV, radio, movies etc. and they are seeking fame. But when you are famous and you error on that level, then you must be corrected on that level. This is so that all that followed your error will be properly warned and can receive the truth of the matter. You see, many are making music, recording media (dvd/cd) and once this stuff is out, it’s out! You can’t take it back and you cannot right all the wrong because so many people were affected by the error. So, this is why the scripture tells us to confront before all in certain instances because all need to know the truth of the matter. Don’t get caught up in the hype. Many do not teach this because they are afraid of exposure. It doesn’t seem right to our modern day belief system because we live in a time where we don’t like to expose the truth. We live in a time where people would rather be quiet and just allow the devil run free without any warning. But if you are a true reader and believer of the Word, you know that EX Ministries method of exposing truth is biblical and sound. Only those that do not read and understand the Word have a problem with it.

SCRIPTURE – 1Tim. 5:20 Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also may be fearful of sinning.

RESPONSE – First, let’s take a look at what God was telling David when he made that statement. David was there to take Saul’s life! He was gonna kill him but God said no. God did not want David to kill Saul because he was his successor and had he murdered Saul, he would have set a precident of murdering leaders to take the thrown. God told him to “touch him not” but what he was saying was that he didn’t want David to murder him. Yet there are some obvious factors here that must be brought out to fully understand. It’s obvious that David had already been discussing Saul’s error to his men because they were there with him when he went to kill Saul. So, David had already warned his people of Saul’s error. Even though he loved Saul, he was prepared to kill him for the sake of right. He knew that Saul wasn’t right and he taught his men that Saul was not right. All throughout the scripture, God raised up prophets, apostles, and leaders that exposed deceit and carnality in the body of Christ. There has to be judgement passed on believers based on their actions as well as their intent. Not eternal judgement, but judgement in the sense of sorting out the truth based on the Word of God. The Bible says that whether it be a prophet or an angel, if they teach contrary to the Word, let them be accursed!

PROOF – In 1 Corinithians 5, Paul judged a man based on this actions and this man was not present! Paul called him out and asked for his removal from the church without him even being present. What does this teach us? It teaches us that we do not judge the world, but we are judges of the body of Christ. We use discernment to look into things and we use the Bible to “try every spirit” as the Word says. We go to our brother in secret when he sins secretly or discreetly. But we go to the public when heresy and public sins are commited. Don’t try to use your flesh to understand this. You must born of God and really a total Bible believer.

RESPONSE – Yes, we do pray. In fact, it was through years of fasting and prayer that God gave the revelation of this ministry! You see, how does God deal with men according to the scripture? WITH MEN! God uses men to deal with men. That’s the problem with so much of our church these days. People don’t want to be accountable to anyone and they want to just pray about it and give it to God, when God is trying to give it back to us to deal with. What is the pastor for? What is the prophet for? What is the apostle for? Come on people! God uses men to deal with these issues and expose the lies in the body of Christ. God warns people through MEN. God speaks to people many times through MEN. God heals through MEN. God delivers through MEN. God created man to represent him on earth.

PROOF – When God judged Pharaoh, he used Moses! When God judged Ahab and Jezebel, he used Elijah. When God judged David, he used Nathan. When God judged King Herod, he used John. When God judged the early church, he used Paul, Peter, and John. When God judged the Pharisees and the scribes, he used Jesus. When God judged Peter, he used Paul. And today, when God wants to rebuke, reprove, and expose, he will use MEN. We can’t just pray about it and get up, but we must pray about it and stay there until God tells us what to do about it! What if all these people I mentioned had said, “I’m gonna give it to God in prayer and leave it there?” God is gonna use MEN to carry out his orders and there is nothing else to say about that!

SCRIPTURE – 2Tim. 4:2 -preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,

RESPONSE – There is no war against the Cross Movement, DaTruth and EX Ministries. The war is between the fundamentalists beliefs and the pentecostal move of God. Because the Cross Movement and DaTruth deny the gifts of God (laying on of hands, casting out devils, Rhema word from God [God speaking to man outside of the written logos Word], and divine healing) they take the position that our ministry should not exist since it was given by divine revelation. They do not believe that God’s gifts are in operation today but that He stopped using men that way in the Bible days. Listen to Ambassador from the Cross Movement on Holy Culture Radio deny the gifts and claim that the Bible has scribal errors in it. This is the same claim made by KRS-One and Afrika Bambaataa all 5%’s. Because they believe this way and are constantly converting their listeners to believe this doctrine, we have been forced to stand against them. We originally supported the Cross Movement and DaTruth, but after a 2 hour phone debate with them, we had to stand firmly on the Word of God. We cannot walk together and not be in agreement on the Bible and the very foundation of God’s pentecostal move upon His body. We believe in all of the Bible and believe that the whole Bible was inspired by God and no part of it should be deleted or questioned. We believe that once man decides to change or remove portions of the Word, they are subject to error and heretical beliefs. Therefore, we cannot support the Cross Movement, Ambassador, or DaTruth as long as they stand on the belief that the Bible is in error. We encourage all true believers of God and those that believe the true power of God is in operation today, to listen closely to the lyrics and the teachings of Ambassador and his followers. Don’t just be a fan of these guys, but stand firm on what you know is the truth, even if it means turning off their music and ceasing to support them. We must stand for the Bible and not allow people to change it at will or edit it for their own agenda. There is enough confusion in the lives of our youth, so to have a Holy Hip Hop group say that the Bible is not all true or that there are scribal errors in it that would have totally changed what we know today as the pentecostal church beliefs.

PROOF – The Zulu Nation, Afrika Bambaataa, and KRS-One all believe the Bible is flawed and should be reinterpreted. Hip Hop rests upon this belief system, and thus, those that claim to be Holy Hip Hop must subscribe to this belief. It’s in the spirit of Hip Hop to deny that the Bible is flawless! If this is what the Cross Movement and DaTruth believe, then why aren’t they preaching this openly instead of hiding it in their lyrics? Check this out:

‘. . . even those in the fam lookin’ for more than the words of the Son tryin’ to have fun sayin’: “God told me this” “The Lord told me that” But if it ain’t confirmed in the Word it ain’t fact. But some still continue and I think it’s sick ‘cause back in the day they would’a had to catch a brick!

This song suggests that there is no such thing as a Rhema Word. It also suggests that God doesn’t speak directly to people. For instance if God told someone to move to California and start a church – according to the Cross Movement – this would not be God. They only believe in what can be confirmed in the Bible. We certainly believe that if any message contradicts the scriptures – IT IS NOT OF GOD. But didn’t Jesus say “My sheep hear my voice? There are specific things to our lives that cannot confirmed verbatim in the Bible, however God may speak them directly to us through His spirit or even indirectly through another person. I even had a friend be taunted by the Cross Movements camp for his admission that he had demons! They do not believe in these things, yet they are promoting and marketing themselves to Pentecostal believing churches? Remember, Hip Hop is a move of the enemy, so in order to truly infect the body of Christ, it must hide and disguise itself as something good to move into position to destroy!

SCRIPTURE – II Timothy 3:16 ~ ‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

RESPONSE – It’s the Holy Hip Hoppers! They have tried everything humanly possible to stop The Truth Behind Hip Hop. They have even taught classes at their conventions about stopping G. Craige Lewis and this ministry. Their tactics are as follows:

1. Build websites and create blogs that will slander G. Craige Lewis and EX Ministries to hurt his reputation so people will not invite our ministry.
2. Build fake EX Ministries websites to try to steer his audience to a fake site that will give the Holy Hip Hoppers an audience to influence against our ministry.
3. Call every church or engagement on the EX Ministries website itinerary page and try to convince them to cancel the engagement or invite a Holy Hip Hopper to give an opposing view.
4. If these tactics don’t work, then create some kind of accusations against G. Craige Lewis to discredit him so churches will cancel. We have received reports of faxed letters, emails, and even calls . . . by any means necessary!

These are tactics of devils! If what the Holy Hip Hoppers where doing was right, would they have to resort to mafia like tactics to stop an opposing view? Would they have to use slander, back biting, and gossip to try to stop engagements? And what about the Pastors and ministries that are inviting G. Craige Lewis and EX Ministries? Isn’t this questioning their authority and credibility and basically suggesting that they are unable to pray and hear from God about bringing this ministry to their churches? Pastors and leaders should be outraged that their judgement, discernment, and ability to hear God is brought into question by some rappers that are angry and want a platform! It is very sad that the Holy Hip Hoppers would use these types of methods to stop what they disagree with. We believe that any church that invites EX Ministries and G. Craige Lewis to their city does it because God lead them to. That’s why we do not address gossip, false accusations, or slanderous rumors on our site because we are totally focused on soul winning and truly believe that what God has established cannot be torn down by man! It’s a sad day when so called Christians have to resort to mudslinging and discord to try to stop churches from having an event that will subsequently change the lives of their youth forever! But we know the devil is relentless and will use those that are weak and selfish to block the truth of God.

Proof – The proof is in the pudding! Holy Hip Hoppers are “Hip Hoppers”. They are using East Coast/West Coast beef tactics just like the gangstas and thugs in real Hip Hop! They are acting like Tupac and Biggie! They want publicity and want to shine, so because EX Ministries takes a stand against them, they are trying to destroy it. When rappers in the world are upset and want to look “tough” they pick out some other rapper and diss them in their music and interviews. This is the same thing that is going on in Holy Hip Hop. They have songs against G. Craige Lewis and websites dedicated to him! If they would fight the devil like they are trying to fight G. Craige Lewis and EX Ministries, they would be dangerous! This is crazy! These are supposed to be men of God? Ministers of rap gospel? And yet they would go and anonymously send emails and letters to churches accusing G. Craige Lewis and EX Ministries of misconduct? Did God tell them to do that? Did God tell them to stop G. Craige Lewis and make way for themselves? If they were true servants of God, wouldn’t they just trust that if God is for them, nothing could stop them?

Scripture -Matthew 5:11 ~ ‘Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

RESPONSE – We at EX Ministries do not allow comments and opinions on our site for two reasons. First, we believe that this message is from God and does not need to be commented on or approved of to make it valid. We believe that God has given us this platform and we must be responsible for every word on our site. Therefore we cannot allow any and everyone to voice their viewpoint on our site because we must take responsibility for everything they are saying. If they post slanderous lies or give a viewpoint that doesn’t line up with scripture, we are responsible to every reader of that information. God would not be pleased if people were writing things that were not true about others on our site we were hosting it. You see, because of the platform we have, every one that writes a comment is elevated to the same level as EX Ministries voice. Therefore, they are heard by everyone that is receiving the other information on our site. This is not God’s plan for our ministry. We keep a responsible position and do not allow everyone to be heard just because they want to be heard. And we also try to protect those we stand for and against from being slandered and accused falsely by people that are against them. We deal with PUBLIC issues that are made public by those that do them, but we do not deal with private issues at EX Ministries. According to the Word of God, we should go to them in secret if they have committed private indiscretions. But things that are done publicly should be dealt with publicly according to the Bible. God will hold us accountable for every idol word that is spoken by us or anyone else that has a voice on our pages.

Secondly, we believe that God called the five fold ministry to minister to His people and His authority should be exercised by the called of God. We cannot just let everyone have a voice that is equal to the called of God’s voice. God called Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers to do this and we believe that the called of God should be speaking and teaching the statutes of God to His people. Blogs and comment pages elevate everyone to the level of the 5 fold ministry and makes every voice equal. This is the plan of the devil to teach the doctrine of devils. He wants every voice to count and be just as important as God’s voice. So, we fight to protect God’s authority and believe that by excluding blogs and comments, we can keep God’s voice potent here at exministries.com.

Proof – God wanted Cornelius to be filled with the Holy Ghost in Acts chapter 10. So he sent an angel with a message to Cornelius telling him to find Peter so Peter could tell him what he should do. Now, why in the world would God send an angel and not allow the angel to minister about the Holy Ghost to Cornelius? Because of His ORDER. God has an order that He follows because He doesn’t want to undermine Himself. So, because Peter was His Apostle, He wanted Peter to be the one to minister to Cornelius. The angel did not have the authority invested in him to preach to this man, and God desired to keep His 5 fold ministry at the forefront of ministering to His people. This is still true today. There are those that are called to minister to God’s people and those that are not. Sure, we are all ministers if we are talking about winning souls to Christ, but we are not all called to minister to God’s body in His Kingdom. God has an authoritative hierarchy that cannot be undermined by giving everyone an equal voice in His Kingdom. This would totally do away with authority and cause us to have spiritual mutiny and confusion.

Scripture – Ephesians 4:11 ~ ‘And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

RESPONSE – First of all, to use this scripture to validate a claim that God can make anything clean that was once unclean is an improper exegesis of scripture. This is a lame attempt to make something manmade equivalent to God’s living creation. You cannot compare a street cultural form of expression to animals and living creation. That is absurd. But people will take scripture and use it like a validation of what profits them financially or gives them pleasure. And this scripture is not at all applicable to the use of a street culture or beats and raps. This scripture is talking about what God has created and not what man has created, so unless you believe Afrika Bambataa, KRS-ONE, or Kool Herc them are gods, then this scripture cannot work as a defense for using a culture that glorifies the streets as a tool for ministry. Second, there is no biblical evidence of God using any method that closely resembles these actions to wins souls. The apostles avoided the use of music as a tool of ministry and so did Jesus Christ. Why are we trying to use it? Well, we profit off music and we enjoy dancing, performing, and people recognizing our talents and abilities, so we want to justify it and force people to accept the use of music as a tool of winning souls when, in fact, the apostles and Jesus NEVER attempted to use music as a tool of ministry to reach the lost.

Be careful when you hear people saying things like “we are trying to come up with ways to reach the lost” or ” we want to use any means necessary to reach the lost”. People that talk like this are only looking for ways to include themselves in the process of reaching the lost and they are searching for ways to expand their territory and enlarge their fan base. If they were really concerned with reaching the lost, they would follow the biblical examples of the apostles and just preach the gospel and allow the Spirit of God to do the work. But when they search for ways or look for ways, they are really trying to add themselves to the equation. After all, those that sell music for a living are subject to the governing powers that market and promote them, not God. So why would God allow the promotion of man to be a vehicle for salvation? Does he need men that sell themselves to sell him too? Is this what he did in scripture? The only biblical example of the sell and promotion of oneself using God’s music was Lucifer in heaven. And he was not allowed back in his position because God could no longer trust him. After all, when you seek platform, fame, record sells, and self promotion, you are subject to the industry and will do whatever you must to please the powers that be. You can’t stay loyal to God and please man at the same time. You must serve one or the other right?

Proof – Sure God can take what he will and make it Holy. He takes prostitutes and saved them, sets them free and makes them Holy! He takes drug addicts and crack addicts everyday, saves them, and makes them Holy. Those that belong to the red-light culture, the goth culture, the drug culture, the hippy culture, the gay/lesbian culture, and the streetwalking culture are all able to be saved, set free, and delivered to never return again to what they were delivered from. But when he makes them Holy, are they still what they once were? Are the prostitutes Holy Hoe’s? Are the drug addicts Holy Crack Heads? Are hippies, Holy Hippies? Or are they new creations? Gospel Gangsta’s, Preachin Pimps, and Holy Hip Hoppers are not new creations, but they are spiritual mutations that retain portions of who they were and thus, they are failed new creations. They are not new, but just amended. They are not hot, but luke warm. They are a mixture of hot and cold. This is exactly what God said he would spew out. Those that desire the world and God. And I’m not talking about rap, I’m talking about the Hip Hop culture!

Scripture – 2Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

RESPONSE – KRS-ONE, the lead prophet of Hip Hop, the originator of Holy Hip Hop and the one that the Cross Movement holds in high regards even though he denounces the Christ of the Bible states that Hip Hop and rap are 2 totally separate things that exist independently of each-other. The founders of Hip Hop and pioneers of the street culture known as Hip Hop all state this and make a distinct difference between the two. Sure the Cross Movement and others that sell music for a living would say this because this attaches Hip Hop to them and causes their audience to be linked to the culture regardless of their own preference to validate and bring Hip Hop into the lives of their fan base and into the churches. Hip Hop legitimizes them and other Holy Hip Hoppers and gives them street credibility so they can perform and act like their secular counterparts. Understand this, the real Hip Hoppers don’t need validation because they are originators, but carbon copies and those that duplicate others need something to validate them and make them legitimate and the most effective way is to merge Hip Hop and rap so that one can use the phrase “Hip Hop” in their music as a form of validation.

Notice, before EX Ministries exposed the truth behind Hip Hop, did you ever hear the Cross Movement and others use the term Hip Hop to describe what they were doing? NO! They were not advocates of Hip Hop then because the truth behind it had not been exposed. The world has always giving props to Hip Hop and made a distinct difference between rap and Hip Hop, but now since that difference has been exposed, the Holy Hip Hoppers must use all their energies and exhaust all their resources to prove that they are legitimate, especially since there is no biblical example of what they are doing. They follow EX Ministries around, showing up at our meetings, threatening us, harassing us and our engagement hosts, just to get their voice heard. This proves one thing. That Hip Hop is something much more important to them than rap. It’s even more important to many of them than actually winning souls. It’s their focus, it’s their motivation, and it’s to them exactly what KRS-ONE and the pioneers of HIp Hop state: It’s their life! And the act of defending it is their main focus in most cases.

Proof – If you want to know what the Constitution of the United States was meant for, you could ask a Supreme Court justice or a circuit court judge and they would give an educated interpretation right? But if you really wanna know the truth about the constitution, the best source of this answer would be one of the original drafters of this document. If you could bring Ben Franklin back from the dead, he could explain the constitution, it’s intent, it’s meaning, and what every article was written for without any debate because he was an original creator of this document! Well, if you wanna know the difference between rap and Hip Hop, why would you listen to a person or group of people with a biased interpretation of it? The founders of Hip Hop and those that have documented it’s beliefs, use, and interpretation are still alive!! You don’t have to raise them from the dead, they are preaching it right now. If they say that Hip Hop and rap are 2 separate things, then that’s who I will believe, not a group of people that want to profit off this culture, but those that are true Hip Hoppers! You know, the ones that don’t serve God or Christ, but they serve their master Hip Hop!
