RESPONSE - This is a very good question. Many feel that we are asking people to destroy their Gospel CD's as well as their secular CD's. But you have to be careful how you handle this information on our site. We own and enjoy Gospel music from certain artists that have recorded with secular artists. But we do no encourage the support of projects that are in support of secular artists. For example, we love Fred Hammond's project "Purpose by design" and we support his own projects because he doesn't use secular artists, nor does he use secular producers. However, we will not support his collaboration with P.Diddy on Bad Boy records because we don't want our money to support the enemies weapons against our nations youth! We do believe that the "anointing" can be compromised and lost by these artists if they continue to compromise their integrity and join themselves with these explicit artists in the name of Christ. Recording for and with these Hip Hop artists says one thing and one thing only. That you are in agreement with them and what they do! Jesus never produced "works" with sinners. To do that, you must join yourselves with them spiritually and agree with their spiritual state. After all, if you disagree with their lifestyle and method of making money, how can you join yourselves with them to prosper them and help promote their cause?

PROOF - The word of God was very clear in it's dealings with the prophet Ezekiel and the sin of Israel. In the book of Ezekial, God's people began to close their eyes to sin because of prosperity and they begin to teach and promote sin. The prophets and ministers began to join themselves with prosperous sinners and began to embrace the sins of the people without standing up and teaching the true Word of God. They even began falsely prophecying to justify their actions. Sounds like our Gospel Music industry? Homosexuality was ignored and not dealt with. Vanity and self promotion was ignored and the norm. Mixing and mingling with sinful, secular people that claimed God and yet worshipped idols and other gods was and still is an abomination to the living God! How can you join your ministry to that? So we do believe that good music can be created by many of these compromising artists, but you must allow God to lead you in your support of them. After all, Lucifer was allowed to make music in Heaven, but when he crossed the line, he was removed. Many gospel artists are crossing the line by supporting the secular industry and it's up to us as a church to take a stand. So do not allow sinful secular artists, producers, and writers to prophecy their doctrines of sin upon your ears. Even though their lyrics may be gospel, they are joined to Satan and are workers of iniquity! And since music carries their spirit, you may be inviting an evil presence into your church, home, or into you mind! God does not want any part of it.
